With over 29 years experience in International Dance Workshops, Sussex Summer School is regarded as one of the highest calibre in the
South East of England. Independently run and established in 1982, the workshop offers a range of disciplines including ballet, musical theatre, modern, contemporary, singing and drama taught by an expert team of guest teachers and major examiners.
Students enjoy the unique setting of Michael Hall School where Kidbrooke Mansion, built in 1735, stands majestically in 60 acres of landscaped parkland adjoining the Ashdown Forest. Outstanding facilities include a fully equipped modern theatre giving all students the chance to perform on stage.
Situated less than 15 miles from Gatwick Airport and just over 4 miles from East Grinstead Railway Station we offer a transfer facility providing easy access for overseas students. Over the past years Sussex Summer School has welcomed students from the North America, East Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Numbers are limited; especially for residential places; so an early application is recommended to avoid disappointment. I have tried to include as much information as possible in the brochure. Should you require any further details I would be happy to answer them personally.
