Scholarships & Saturday Morning Demonstration

For every group a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will be awarded calculated on a 'point' system based on the assessments by all the teachers during the week. A musicality prize and patron's prize is also awarded. Two scholarships for the following year's Summer School will be awarded: The Sussex Summer School Scholarship & The Pete Dettmer Memorial Scholarship (Contemporary). Recipients of the scholarships will be entitled to one week's residential tuition at the following year's Summer School or two week's day tuition. The scholarships can only be used for the following year and not carried over. All prizes including the scholarships will be presented by our patron, Miss Barbara Fewster OBE at the end of the demonstration on Saturday morning which commences at 11:00 and finishes at approx. 12:30.

Please note that due to travel arrangements of overseas students, these timings are subject to change, therefore please re-confirm at the start of the course.

All children will be required to start rehearsals at 9:00am on Saturday in preparation for the demonstration.

Presentations are awarded at the end of the demonstration, a video of clips from classes and events during the week, and the demonstration itself, can be ordered at the demonstration.
